The MAS Open Target Championship returns to the National Archery Centre for two days of WA-standard target competition. Open to recurve and compound archers across all age divisions, with qualification on Day 1 and Olympic-round eliminations and finals on Day 2.

Equipment inspection, practice ends and a full results service are provided. Spectators welcome — entry is free.

The championship caters strictly to athletes with qualified physical impairments, competing in designated classes: +

W1 Division: Competitors with impairments affecting both lower and upper limbs, usually competing from a wheelchair. Open Division: Competitors with standard lower-limb or trunk activity limitations (merging historical W2 and Standing classes).

How Entries are Managed? +

State Associations: All entries must be vetted and coordinated directly by state archery bodies or state sports councils.

What archery styles are contested? +

The tournament generally features Recurve and Compound target divisions.

Is there an admission fee for spectators? +

No. Public entry to watch the national para circuit is free of charge.
